About The Position

This role assists the supervisor in ensuring the department meets goals and objectives for safety, quality, and productivity. The Team Lead leads in a professional manner with a positive outlook, understands and supports cell goals, and assigns people to jobs. They are responsible for conducting cell communication meetings, answering questions about cell performance, completing 5s Audits on time, and ensuring cell communication boards are updated promptly. The Team Lead effectively works with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of product, ensures adherence to work instructions, and is knowledgeable about policies and procedures (including safety) or can find the answers. They drive associate suggestions for continuous improvement, work with the supervisor to ensure the work area meets 5s standards (correcting deficiencies and ensuring recycling), and collaborate on cross-training to meet goals. Additionally, they work with supervisors to ensure associates are properly trained using the process training.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to 6+ months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Knowledge of AS400 Manufacturing software.

  • Works with supervisors to ensure associates are properly trained (uses the process training).

Benefits

  • Wage Range-$22.00-$24.00 (Depending on experience)
