The Team Leader is responsible for guiding and managing the operations of their assigned team. This includes providing strategic direction, administrative oversight, and ensuring the effective coordination of service delivery for team members under their supervision. They are accountable for the overall performance of the team, including staff management, program implementation, and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include planning, assigning, evaluating, and reviewing staff work, as well as contributing to service coordination and continuous improvement efforts. The Team Leader collaborates with provider agencies to ensure services are delivered in a timely and effective manner. Additionally, the Team Leader may represent The Columbus Organization on committees, task forces, and in public forums. They engage with external stakeholders—including individuals and families, community representatives, state offices, and service providers—by providing information, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and explaining policies and programs.
