About The Position

Serves as a team lead by promoting product quality, communicating, and coordinating daily production activities. The starting pay is $21.75/hour which includes a shift premium pay! Work Schedule: work 2 days, off 2 days; work 3 days, off 2 days; work 2 days; then off 3 days, and repeat. Shift schedule example: Week One: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday. Week Two: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday. In other words, 48 hours one week, 36 hours the next. 6pm-6am

  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Able to accurately count to 50.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; use hands and engage in repetitive movements.
  • Must be able to wear vinyl or nitrile gloves.
  • Frequently required to walk.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Informs supervisor of challenges and obstacles that are impacting the quality of the product or the efficiency of production so the supervisor may take timely and appropriate action.
  • Coordinate production activities.
  • Communicating any relevant information with team members.
  • Produce proper documentation including the use of the computer.
  • Conduct QC paperwork.
  • Provide mentoring, training, and instruction to team members.
  • Stage raw materials for production needs. This includes film roll changes that require operation of crane lift.
  • Palletize cases of finished goods.
  • Print product/shipping labels as needed.
  • Spot check for critical characteristics on production.
  • Cross train for continuous learning and development for back up in all roles on the line for support in the in case of vacation/absent.
  • Place parts onto fixture for assembly
  • Press fit parts into assembly
  • Visually inspect the cuff and tube, and overall visual inspection for critical characteristics
  • Count and place parts into bin
  • Fold bags in half
  • Place in box
