About The Position

The Sequencing Team Lead supports daily production by guiding team members, monitoring workflow, and helping resolve issues in real time. This is a hands-on role responsible for keeping the sequencing process running smoothly, meeting quality standards, and supporting team performance on the floor.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in warehouse, production, or sequencing environment preferred
Basic computer and system navigation skills

Support team performance on the floor.
Ensure production runs smoothly with minimal disruptions, delays, or missed sequences.
Ensure sequenced material is accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
Identify and resolve issues quickly before impacting production.
Reduce rework, errors, and replacement activity over time.
Ensure team members understand their tasks and perform them correctly and consistently.
Ensure new and cross-trained employees are confident and productive in their roles.
Maintain clean, organized, and 5S-standard work areas.
Ensure safety rules are followed at all times and risks are addressed immediately.
Facilitate timely, clear, and solution-focused communication between shifts and departments.
Foster effective teamwork and a positive, respectful environment.
Understand sequencing process (JIT) and production workflow.
Monitor WIP, queues, and inventory to keep production moving.
Recognize bottlenecks and adjust priorities in real time.
Identify issues quickly and take action to resolve them.
Support root cause problem-solving to prevent repeat issues.
Follow through to ensure problems are fully resolved.
Provide clear, simple instructions and guidance on the floor.
Help train new employees and support skill development.
Reinforce expectations for quality, safety, and performance.
Ensure sequencing accuracy and adherence to customer requirements.
Monitor rework, replacements, and errors and take corrective action.
Maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Share updates, priorities, and issues clearly with the team.
Work closely with supervisors and other departments.
Escalate issues appropriately and provide clear status updates.
Model safe work behaviors and reinforce accountability.
Maintain clean, organized work areas using 5S/6S principles.
