About The Position
This is a full-time leadership role focused on guiding a team in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, particularly involving work with children. The position offers the opportunity to launch a career in leadership, create meaningful memories for kids and families, and develop skills in coaching, communication, operations, and customer service. The company provides training to become a certified swim pro and safety expert, even for those without prior aquatic experience.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old with a passion for working with children.
- Possess positive energy, strong communication skills, and a natural leadership style.
- Enjoy helping others grow, including children and teammates.
- Available to work a consistent schedule, including weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.
- Physically active and ready to be on your feet, in the water, and moving with purpose.
Nice To Haves
- Aquatic experience is not required; training will be provided.
- Experience in coaching, communication, operations, and customer service is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team on deck and in the pool, supervising, supporting, and training hourly staff to ensure smooth class operations.
- Coach instructors and serve as a lead instructor, mentoring swim teachers to deliver safe, engaging, high-quality lessons.
- Celebrate student wins by observing and encouraging progress in the pool with students of all ages.
- Support families by helping to ensure each customer feels confident and cared for.
- Assist with scheduling, performance evaluations, and enrollment goals.
- Model and enforce safety standards for staff and students.
