About The Position

AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) is hiring! We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead to lead and develop the team in a dynamic production environment.

Requirements

Proven leadership to manage and mentor A-Team.
Strong communication skills to foster positive and collaborative work environment inside and out of the department.
Continuous improvement mindset to provide efficiencies.
Understanding of machinery, raw materials, troubleshooting, and process enhancements to improve overall production outcomes.
Experience in production scheduling, inventory accuracy, and supply chain coordination to ensure efficiency and on-time execution of work orders.
Strong analytical skills to collect, interpret, and apply operational data for process improvements and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

Manage and mentor a team providing clear direction, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and engagement.
Foster and sustain a positive, collaborative work environment that motivates team members and promotes open communication and innovation.
Lead regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional growth, ensuring team members meet and exceed expectations.
Champion and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production processes.
Own key performance metrics for safety, quality, delivery, and cost, consistently monitoring and striving for improvement across the team.
Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to guide decision-making, process enhancements, and strategic planning.
Leverage machining experience to evaluate raw materials, troubleshoot machinery and processes, and drive continuous improvements in production outcomes.
Create and provide guidance on existing standard operating procedures to ensure safety and quality through operations.
