About The Position

The Team Lead is responsible for supervising, directing, and supporting employees. This role involves acting as a working leader, planning and laying out work, instructing and supervising the team, and contributing to continuous improvement and safety initiatives. The Team Lead sets a professional example, coordinates and prioritizes assigned areas with minimal supervision, and possesses strong organizational skills to manage multiple work demands. They provide technical support to their team and others in the operation, coordinate with leadership on operational issues, and promote process and operational improvement. The Team Lead supports team concepts, drives safety, on-time delivery (TAT), and reduces the cost of quality events, while also supporting and enforcing company policies and procedures. They must practice safety-conscious behaviors in all processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Is at least 18 years of age.
  • Has authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to act as the working leader of a group of Employees.
  • Must have a valid and current driver’s license.
  • Must be willing to work rotating or fixed shifts (If transferring internally).
  • Must be performing satisfactorily in present position.
  • Knowledge of general office clerical procedures.
  • Strong computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to regularly exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to organize and plan work adhering to deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of personal and/or proprietary intellectual information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply information contained in technical, operational and supplemental manuals or procedures.
  • Ability to work without supervision.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED or high school equivalency.
  • Must have achieved “ATL level four technician” or sufficient experience in the work to be performed.
  • Must be certificated as a mechanic or repairman per part 65.

  • Follows all safety rules, FAA regulations, PPE compliance, and equipment operation requirements.
  • Operates office machines and equipment and troubleshoots problems with area specialized equipment.
  • Operates hand tools, lathes, machine shop tools, and balance machines.
  • Adheres to deadlines and maintains attention to detail.
  • Maintains confidentiality of personal and/or proprietary intellectual information.
