The Team Lead coordinates and monitors the activities of a work group or cell, providing on-the-job training as needed. This role ensures the completion of work and customer requirements while adhering to all company quality and safety processes. The Team Lead may provide input to a Supervisor or Manager regarding performance. Key responsibilities include overseeing work assignments, leading by example, maintaining good housekeeping, ensuring employee safety, coordinating shift start-up and clean-up activities, ensuring availability of tools and materials, providing training, reporting incidents and policy violations, and complying with health and safety initiatives. This position is located directly on the warehouse floor, involves working around heavy machinery, and has been identified as 'safety sensitive'.
