About The Position

This position is responsible for communicating daily department production goals and prioritizing workload demands to ensure maximum productivity is achieved. The Team Lead will assign and/or adjust workflow as needed and verify work activities are consistent with quality and work instructions. This role will monitor key performance indicators of the department and report any issues of non-conformance, performance or compliance to the Supervisor or Operations Manager. The Team Lead will also coordinate and collaborate with other departments and external customers as needed, and ensure adherence to safety guidelines of the department and general warehouse standards are met. Participation in daily meetings to provide departmental status updates is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple activities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Experience using warehouse management systems
• Must have good communication skill and ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to instruct, direct, and lead a team of hourly associates.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to stand and walk continuously during an 8-to-10-hour shift and work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to become certified and operate powered industrial trucks
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of prior warehouse experience
