Team Lead
About The Position
The Goddard School in Spring, Texas, is seeking a motivated, self-starting Team Lead (Office Assistant) to assist with overseeing the school’s daily operations and maintaining high standards of education and care. The role supports the Assistant Director and Director with staff management, licensing compliance, and positive relationships with families and the community. The Team Lead also supports implementation of the school’s proprietary Wonder of Learning® program, which uses play and curiosity to make learning enjoyable and foster teamwork, problem-solving, and social-emotional relationships.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience teaching in early childhood education.
- Strong knowledge of child development, early learning best practices, team leadership, and classroom management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine love for children and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
- Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience, and credential requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the school.
- Support the recruitment, training, development, and supervision of staff.
- Assist with implementing the Wonder of Learning® program.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with families.
- Conduct regular safety drills and maintain emergency preparedness and compliance with licensing regulations.
