About The Position

Responsible for assisting in the oversight of gym operations to ensure a positive member experience. This role involves supporting the Club Manager in various aspects of gym operations, including staff training and development, member service, front desk tasks, and ensuring adherence to company policies.

  • Ability to stand and walk at least 75% of the shift
  • Ability to talk in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in training and developing staff.
  • Assist in member service oversight, ensuring all staff provide great customer experience.
  • Perform front desk related tasks including answering phone calls, taking info calls, assisting with member check-ins, sign-ups, cancellations, and updating member information.
  • Greet and meet potential members, provide gym tours, and assist with member service issues and questions.
  • Assist with team member management and provide backup support to the Club Manager.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Help create and maintain a positive image for the club.
  • Assist in overseeing the cleanliness and appearance of the gym.
  • Assist in managing marketing efforts, ensuring team members are aware of and trained on current promotions.
  • Assist in ordering supplies, keeping inventory, and tracking reports.
