About The Position

The Team Leader, Trauma Registrar collaborates closely with the Trauma Services staff to maintain the efficient operation of the WakeMed Trauma Registry database. Responsible for the continued maintenance of the trauma registry and American College of Surgeons (ACS) Trauma Quality Improvement Program. Oversees trauma registrars, and maintains compliance with local and state rules/regulations, as well as ACS verification requirements regarding trauma registry in order to retain trauma center designation/verification.

Requirements

• Certified Specialist in Trauma Registries Required
• Associate's Degree Required
• 2 Years Healthcare Required
• 2 Years Data Collection Required
• 2 Years Data Entry Required

Nice To Haves

• Certified Abbreviated Injury Scale Specialist Preferred
