About The Position

This role oversees the daily functions of an assigned team within the supply chain department, ensuring all responsibilities are met. The Team Lead facilitates assignments as instructed by the Supervisor and Facility Manager. A key aspect of this role involves effectively utilizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and the Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) system to document all receiving and purchasing activity, including Requisitions, Purchase Orders (PO) for Stock items, PO Nonstock items, and Non-PO items. The Team Lead must ensure that daily picking, delivery, and receiving priorities are strictly adhered to and will stage products for put away or delivery to the customer. This position also involves troubleshooting and conducting service recovery when facility processes are delayed, and assisting with Quality and Inventory Control assignments and recall procedures. The role requires the willingness and ability to cover all job assignments of the assigned team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent years of experience is required.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to use a personal computer, Microsoft applications, and ERP system.
  • Requires long periods of standing and walking (as much as 6+ hours per day) and heavy pushing and pulling.
  • Requires the continuous ability to: lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist; lift up to 20 lbs from waist to over-the-head; carry up to 25 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Some assignments may require the ability to operate manual and motorized material handling equipment.
  • May be required to obtain Material Handling Safety Training certification within 30-days of hire.
