Team Lead, Software Engineering (.NET)
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Team Lead, Software Engineering (.NET), to lead a high-performing Business Take-On engineering team in Belgrade. This role combines hands-on software development with people leadership. You will be responsible for developing and evolving a platform that automates, optimizes, and accelerates customer renewals, onboarding, and batch processing into fulfillment systems. If you have a strong background in .NET technologies, experience leading engineering teams, and an interest in cloud technologies and modern software architecture, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact!
Requirements
- 6 years of hands-on software development experience using C# and .NET technologies, including Web APIs and integrations
- At least 2 years of experience managing a software engineering team
- Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in English
Nice To Haves
- Professional experience developing applications using Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience with AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP cloud platforms
- Frontend development experience
- Experience developing enterprise applications and strong skills in troubleshooting software and performance issues
- Agile development methodologies working experience
- Experience in implementing modular distributed systems
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software engineers developing a modular distributed platform that enables faster onboarding of new customers and services
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Architecture, DevOps, QA, and Operations teams
- Guide the team in planning, refactoring, enhancing, and extending existing solutions to ensure long-term maintainability and scalability
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to team members
- Encourage innovation and creative problem-solving when addressing complex business and technical challenges
- Contribute to continuously improving the software development lifecycle and champion modern engineering practices, including AI-driven development approaches
- Monitor team performance, technical capabilities, and delivery outcomes to ensure sustainable success
