About The Position

Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for a Team Lead Security Officer in Jackson, TN. This role supports a premier automotive facility and is an active, boots-on-the-ground position. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security and customer service, be dependable, detail-oriented, and take pride in their work. This is a professional environment with opportunities for growth. The Team Lead will conduct routine patrols to proactively identify risks, enforce site policies, and maintain a secure environment. Keen observation skills and the ability to document incidents accurately are essential. Performance matters, and consistency and leadership can lead to quick advancement.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Valid TN Security License
  • Valid TN Driver's License
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience
  • Minimum of one year of security experience
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)

Responsibilities

  • Working Site Supervisor on shift
  • Interact with all guests (clients, residents and visitors) in a professional demeanor
  • Foster client relationships through continuous communication and support
  • Develop and implement site-specific security policies to successfully execute contract
  • Ensure officers are performing all assigned duties including but not limited to time sheets, daily logs, activity and incident reports
  • Review and verify all reports and logs for accuracy
  • Address and rectify all employee relation and payroll concerns in a timely manner
  • Recruit, hire and train officers to ensure operational performance and coverage is met
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance (uniform and equipment)
  • Utilize approved security equipment (CCTV, radios, computers/tablets etc.)
  • Effectively communicate all pertinent information to team in a timely manner
  • Manage security personnel including but not limited to scheduling, counseling and or disciplinary actions when necessary
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance (uniform and equipment)
  • Other duties to be determined by management
