About The Position
Our Richmond manufacturing facility is growing and is adding a brand-new team leader to our lineup. Our team leaders coordinate, plan, and support the daily work of the team and shift. Team leads generally work Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, plus overtime as scheduled.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- GPHE assembly experience
- Basic Personal Computer skills with demonstrated ability in JEEVES, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated commitment to Alfa Laval Production System (ALPS), including 5S, Cell Status Boards, PRP and KPI Boards
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, plan, and support the daily work of the team/shift.
- Monitor processes and performance in the team/shift with a focus on waste elimination.
- Act as a link between the team, support functions, and team manager.
- Develop the key processes and tools within the cell.
- Close competence gaps by training/coaching and running SOP audit dialogues.
- Control quality, deviations, and line stops together with the team manager.
- When needed support team members with immediate problem solving.
- Execute production work according to ALPS standards and participate in continuous improvements.
