About The Position

NexusTek is expanding its offerings with strategic initiatives in hybrid cloud, cybersecurity, generative AI, and data, aiming to cultivate a premier service organization. As Team Lead, Sales Operations Specialist, you will be instrumental in building and leading a team responsible for managing quotes, orders, and communication between vendors and clients. This role requires adaptability in a fast-paced MSP environment, with shifting priorities and the need for a steady hand to keep the team focused, trained, and proactive. You will be a hands-on leader, involved in quoting internal offerings, tracking Master Service Agreements, communicating with procurement and finance, and maintaining sales opportunities in ConnectWise.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in sales operations, sales support, or a similar administration/coordination role, ideally within IT, MSP, or a related technology environment.
  • Prior experience training, mentoring, or leading others – whether as a formal people manager or information go to resource on a team, with the ability to stay patient and clear when priorities shift quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through with the ability to manage a high volume of requests (quotes, orders, vendor communications) accurately and without letting things fall through the cracks.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, data management software, business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a Sales Operations team by training new team members on products, tools, and process, and being available as their go-to resource throughout the day.
  • Manage a high volume of requests with constantly shifting priorities, while coaching your team, and staying on track.
  • Produce data for sales team, including but not limited to, forecasting, stack ranking, territory management.
  • Own the day-to-day workflow across and determine priorities.
  • Quote internal offerings and follow up with order approvals.
  • Track Master Service Agreements (MSAs), ensuring new clients complete and sign required paperwork.
  • Communicate directly with procurement and finance contacts to keep orders and approvals moving.
  • Stay proactive during downtime — training your team, and maintaining regular communication cadences with vendor partners so you can relay what's new and relevant back to the team.
  • Maintain and update sales opportunities in the ConnectWise program.
  • Support and unblock your team throughout the day, jumping in wherever help is needed.
