About The Position

Leprino Foods is the largest manufacturer of mozzarella and lactose in the world, and a leading producer of whey protein. The Greeley Team is seeking a Nutrition Team Lead Operator to help achieve company goals. This role is responsible for the safe operation of associated equipment and/or processes, the quality of incoming raw materials, and the quality of outgoing products in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safe work practices. The position also involves maintaining 5S standards, participating in and implementing continuous improvement, and communicating effectively with team members, team leads, supervisors, and managers. Meeting food safety and quality requirements by following the Food Safety Plan, Quality Plan and company policies is essential.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language in order to understand/adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), to communicate effectively with others, to complete required documentation both in written and electronic form utilizing the English language.
  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience
  • Computer proficiency in email, internet, and Microsoft Office software (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • At least two years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in machine operation utilizing HMIs and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum two years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the safe operation of its associated equipment and/or processes, the quality of incoming raw materials, the quality of the outgoing products in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safe work practices.
  • Be responsible for maintaining 5S standards, and participating in and implementing continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively in relaying information to team members, team leads, supervisors, and managers as applicable.
  • Meet food safety and quality requirements by following the Food Safety Plan, Quality Plan and company policies.
