We are searching for a talented Team Lead-Patient Care Services to join our PACU team at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA. Requirements

  • A Bachelors Degree in Nursing or the equivalent knowledge and experience is required.
  • A minimum of three years related work experience is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize technology to document, evaluate and manage patient outcomes.
  • Demonstrated organizational, coordination and time management skills.
  • Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
  • Current RN Registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
  • Previous experience working in perioperative services including Preop, PACU, Intraop, or Endo required.
  • Specialty certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diversified duties both within and in support of the department including leadership, performance review process, daily operations, departmental manpower scheduling, fiscal responsibilities, educational responsibilities, performance improvement, liaison, and quality.
  • Participate in on-call coverage as required to support operational and/or staffing needs.
