Requirements

  • Training and education development and coordination
  • Epic ED Reg end user training experience
  • Ability to design and develop Training and Quality Assurance programs
  • Experience with training schedule setup, inventory, and supply distribution
  • Proficiency in administering assessments and evaluations

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary resource to team members for training and education.
  • Develops, coordinates, and/or instructs educational programs designed to meet the needs of the staff, in accordance with the goals and objectives of the department and organization.
  • Conducts Epic ED Reg end user classroom and elbow-to-elbow training, under the direction of the ED Reg and Admitting Manager.
  • Works closely with the department manager to design and develop the Training and Quality Assurance program.
  • Responsible for the set-up of the training schedule, including inventory and distribution of supplies.
  • Responsible for quality control, including administering a proficiency assessment and class evaluation at the end of each session.
  • Forwards ideas to improve the effectiveness of the training to the department manager.
