About The Position

The Pasting Team Lead is responsible for distributing all department work orders and ensuring proper procedures are followed by all employees in the area, including safety, quality, and production. This role reviews the function and output of area operations to ensure production levels are maintained, and equipment is repaired and operating correctly. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
3-5 years of manufacturing experience
Good communication and writing skills
Proficient in Microsoft software products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and any department specific computer programs
Forklift Driver Certification
Must have training certification for each area of responsibility

Responsibilities

Distributes all department work orders.
Ensures proper procedures are followed by all employees in the area, including safety, quality, and production.
Reviews function and output of area operations to ensure production levels are maintained.
Ensures equipment is repaired and operating correctly.
Performs all duties required of advanced level employees in the assigned area.
Conducts and coordinates the training of new employees.
Ensures safety supplies and personal protective equipment are used appropriately.
Completes required documentation for production, inventory, SPC, administration, etc.
Completes required computer system input, analysis, and reports relative to the area.
Identifies unsatisfactory employee performance, verbally notifies employees of procedure violations or behavior problems, and informs Supervisor of performance events.
May record employee performance events in the department log.
Communicates various company policies and procedures to employees.
May give verbal input regarding employee performance during the employee review process.
Coordinates delivery and production schedules including changeovers.
Involved in continuous improvement projects.
Complies with all safety requirements and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Understands and practices the Quality Policy.
Complies with Blood Lead Health and Hygiene Protocols.
Understands and complies with correct lifting procedures which enable lifting to 50 lbs.
Complies with Hazard Communication procedures.
Follows all Ergonomic recommendations and safety procedures.
