Requirements

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in manufacturing operations (Cleanroom/ISO 13485 experience preferred)
  • Demonstrated leadership and training skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Team-player mentality
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent accuracy and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, FIFO, OEE, and visual management)
  • Ability to utilize ERP as a primary tool for production tracking, ensuring data integrity and minimizing manual workarounds
  • Experience participating in or leading Tier 1 or Tier 2 shift meetings to communicate goals and roadblocks
  • Safety First Responsible

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the production schedule and make timely adjustments as required based on priority changes as directed by management
  • Develop manufacturing plans and provide clear direction to Assembly staff per the schedule to ensure timely completion of work
  • Provide input on staffing needs to Assembly Operations
  • Ensure that Assembly staff is performing work per the direction provided and report deficiencies and issues to the Production Supervisor as required
  • Utilize available resources in a manner that ensures optimum throughput and on-time delivery.
  • Ensure that completed jobs meet customer requirements.
  • Provide progress report updates as requested
  • Provide suggestions for continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships within the organization
  • Collaborates with Scheduling, Quality and Shipping
  • Train new employees on the essential duties of their jobs
  • Coordinate with Quality for seamless handoffs
  • Monitor and report on Schedule Attainment and OEE metrics
