About The Position

The Team Lead – Maintenance position is a working team lead, responsible for coordinating maintenance employees in completing daily task required. This role involves working closely with production supervisors and team leads to prioritize equipment availability for preventative maintenance, work requests, and scheduled work orders to meet maintenance metrics and KPI goals with a sense of reasonable urgency. The position requires a proactive mindset to address problems before they become significant issues and effective workload resource balancing to ensure appropriate manpower for assignments. Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work using the Fixx work order system, locating parts and prices for repairs, and completing required forms for purchases are also key responsibilities. The role involves using the National Electrical Code, manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints to diagnose and repair equipment, including diagnosing and replacing faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machinery and associated equipment. Performing all safety checks within the department and keeping the work area clean, safe, and orderly are also essential duties. Other duties as assigned will also be part of the role.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Good knowledge of excel and word documents creating charts and reports.
  • Mobile equipment, forklifts, aerial lifts.
  • Have experience with a maintenance ticketing system

Nice To Haves

  • Certification High School and Trade School or Apprenticeship.
  • Ability to successfully accomplish multiple tasks and priorities and quickly adapt in a fast-paced high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination with daily work activities of maintenance employees
  • Works closely with production supervisor & team leads to determine priority levels and equipment availability to meet PM, work requests, and scheduled work order compliance to meet maintenance metrics KPI goals with a sense of reasonable urgency.

  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed using Fixx work order system.
  • Locate parts and prices to effect repairs, complete required forms for purchases.

  • Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machinery and associated equipment.
  • Perform all safety checks within the department
  • Keep work area clean, safe, and orderly manner
