About The Position

The Team Lead – GMP Processing is responsible for leading day-to-day production activities within the GMP production area, ensuring the processes and tasks are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with Health Canada’s Cannabis Regulations, site SOPs, and GMP requirements. These processes can include but are not limited to: Drying, Deracking, Bucking, Trimming, Curing, Sorting and Bagging, Packaging and Inventory. This role sets and reinforces high standards of quality and documentation, promotes a strong culture of continuous improvement, and ensures issues are identified early and escalated to the Production Manager as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
• 2–4 years experience in a cannabis-regulated manufacturing environment, specifically post-harvest activities.
• Reliable transportation required (must be able to travel to the Gatineau site).
• Must be available to work weekends and/or flexible shifts as operational needs require.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years in a GMP manufacturing environment is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily GMP production activities in assigned areas.
• Assign tasks and coordinate staffing during shifts.
• Ensure SOP, GMP, and safety adherence on the floor.
• Perform real-time documentation checks for completeness and accuracy.
• Escalate deviations and non-conformances immediately.
• Support equipment readiness, cleaning, and documentation.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and training support.
• Mentor production staff to support skill development and future growth.
• Communicate shift updates and support continuous improvement.
