About The Position

Support in vivo oncology studies through equipment management; facility operations and maintenance; equipment receipt and installation; and supply receipt and distribution. This role involves overseeing maintenance, repair, calibration, and testing of equipment, coordinating waste streams and equipment set points, and managing facility maintenance and upkeep. The position also includes overseeing supply receipt and distribution systems and processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of directly related experience
• Experience in contract research animal facility, laboratory, or industry setting required
• Demonstrable strong technical and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work effectively and productively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a strong sense of accountability, integrity and confidentiality
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound and accurate judgment in making timely decisions
• Superior planning, organizational, computer, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability and willingness to respond to after hours/off hours equipment emergencies
• Ability and eagerness to assist with other duties in a dynamic environment
• Ability to observe safety and security procedures and relevant regulations and laws
• Ability to observe and understand regulatory requirements related to equipment management

• Coordinate and oversee end-users and monitoring companies to maintain equipment set points
• Responsible for facility maintenance and upkeep
• Oversee supply receipt and distribution systems and processes
