About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Team Lead (Fabrication) - 1st Shift at 415 Puckett Ferry Road in Greenwood, SC. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am - 3:30 pm. The rate for this position is $23.77 per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Sustainment of 5S+ in all responsible areas.
  • Provide leadership and direction of work for team, ensuring products are fabricated correctly and efficiently.
  • Maintain and monitor all safety protocols ensuring team is wearing proper PPE.
  • Manage and supervise fabrication operations, including scheduling and task assignments.
  • Ensure that team members follow defined fabrication procedures and comply with quality requirements.
  • Train new fabrication workers on procedures and safety protocols.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to team members to achieve high standards.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all storage areas are to 5S standards. Ensure all material storage is compliant with EHS guidelines.
  • Identify excess & obsolete material, approve and dispose in timely fashion. Responsible for taking actions around Inventory profile.
  • Guide and oversee work operations to respond positively to unusual situations, changes, material shortages, and varying manpower requirements.
  • Address any fabrication issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Identify business improvement opportunities and perform root cause analysis to resolve problems.
  • Report production metrics to the supervisor or operations manager.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production processes.
  • Responsible for overall inventory management within the facility by ensuring inventory transactions and balances are accurate and controls.
  • Use appropriate lift assist or partner lift when moving material/products. May lift and carry up to 40 lbs and push or pull up to 100 lbs.
