Irving Shipbuilding is seeking an experienced Team Lead, Electrical Engineering to take on a key leadership role within the Arctic Offshore Patrol Ship (AOPS) and River Class Destroyer (RCD) Programs. This position involves leading and influencing the design and delivery of complex electrical systems for Canada’s naval fleet, while also mentoring a team of engineers and collaborating with various internal and external partners. The role requires leading a multidisciplinary team in the design, development, and implementation of shipboard electrical systems and related subsystems, providing both technical and people leadership to ensure solutions meet program, regulatory, and schedule requirements, and driving continuous improvement. Irving Shipbuilding is Canada's National Shipbuilder, constructing over 20 modern patrol ships and destroyers for the Royal Canadian Navy and Canadian Coast Guard as part of a major defence procurement project.
