About The Position

Prevost, a division of Volvo Group Canada Inc., is seeking a 310T Team Lead - Coach Mechanic for its Mississauga Service Center. This role is crucial within the facility, involving the assignment, monitoring, and checking of work performed by service technicians. The position requires strong communication skills to facilitate information flow between the front of the shop and technicians, as well as the ability to read, review, and correct technician documentation. The Team Lead may also be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on coaches and training other employees on these tasks. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Qualified mechanical experience
Prior experience leading other employees
Great communication, both verbal and written, and customer service attitude
Truck and Coach License "310T" or Red Seal certification
Class B commercial driver's license with a passenger endorsement
Proficient computer skills

Responsibilities

Assign, monitor, and check the work of a team of service technicians.
Convey information from the front of the shop to the technicians and vice versa.
Read, review, and correct technician stories to ensure proper documentation.
Perform and train other employees on the repair and maintenance of coaches.
Perform other duties as assigned.
