In our Surgical stepdown unit you will primarily support higher acuity transplant, abdominal, ortho, trauma patients along with ENT, Vasc, and plastic surgery. This is a full-time position with 3x12 hour shifts, nights. Sign on bonus eligible up to 15k. Must have 2+ years RN experience. The patient population is comprised of acutely ill surgical patients requiring a higher level of nursing care and monitoring. This unit primarily cares for post-op patients admitted to the Abdominal Transplant, Hepatobiliary Surgery, ENT/Plastics Surgery and Ortho-micro Surgery teams. Secondary, this unit manages critical care needs for patients admitted to the Trauma/ACCS/Geriatric Trauma Surgery teams, Orthopedic-Spine/Recon/Hand etc. teams as well as Vascular Surgery and other overflow teams.
