About The Position

The Team Coordinator ensures a continuous flow of work through their designated cell or department. This role assists Team Leaders in performing daily administrative duties related to Production Reporting, Time and Attendance, and Performance Management. The shift for this position is 1st shift, from 7 am to 3:30 pm.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years manufacturing/leadership experience
  • Ensures quality by using project plan and project schedule methodology
  • Clearly defining and utilizing processes in daily work
  • Understanding SFW team structure, roles and responsibilities
  • Integrating process methodology into daily work; MPI, QAT, 5S, 6D, Q@S etc
  • Looking for innovative ways to streamline work processes across the division and involves stakeholders
  • Identifying gaps using tools such as Baldridge criteria, WI Forward Award criteria, GPTW, IDP etc
  • Establishing forums to share best practices
  • Using department and company scorecard and other metrics
  • Measuring own work to plan and reports out at a micro and macro level

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a continuous flow of work through their designated cell or department by balancing workflow, ensuring material availability, communicating production issues, keeping records of cross-training, coordinating with maintenance, and recommending process improvements.
  • Perform Time and Attendance actions by processing time cards, administering daily report-offs, tracking department changes, and scheduling/approving vacation/bonus allowances.
  • Complete production reporting information by verifying accuracy, entering production numbers, printing and posting weekly production graphs, and analyzing production numbers to report findings.
  • Complete Performance Management issues by providing feedback, preparing Individual Improvement Plans/Balanced Scorecards, coordinating new hires and transfers, and coordinating quality documentation.
  • Maintain a Safe Work Environment by reporting safety concerns, ensuring safety audits are completed, and assisting with accident investigations.
  • Perform direct manufacturing duties, as time allows.
