Requirements

Positive work experience in current role
Demonstrated leadership and passion for continuous learning and personal development
Ability to work independently (self-motivated)
Ability to understand and write simple correspondences as well as verbal communication in English
Good organizational skills
Ability to work as part of a team and motivate team members
Basic computer and math skills
Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. with assistance

Responsibilities

Work as a member of a team with department leadership to run an effective, efficient department
Ability to spend 60-70% of workday on the floor
Oversee production and processes focusing on safety, quality and efficiencies
Manage daily targets
Promote and lead in safety, quality, 5S, and Continuous Improvement
Lead meetings as required
Assist with problem solving and investigations
Implement and sustain any new tools
Support with time and attendance as required
Act as a key person in the designated work area
Develop cross training plan for department
Ensure materials are available for use
Ensure leadership is aware of all situations regarding planning, quality, personnel, safety, and materials
