The Department of Urology has an outstanding opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP - ARNP/PA-C) to fill a full-time, 12 month, academic position at the Teaching Associate level. The anticipated start date for the position is as early as Summer 2026. Teaching Associates hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. The ARNP/PA is an integrated role which includes clinical, education and research components. This individual will be a member of an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with physicians to actively participate in the care of patients undergoing treatment and prevention, primarily at the Kidney Stone Center (KSC) at UWMC-Northwest Campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Urology services, with a focus on Endourology. They will work independently and in concert with appropriate privileges, including initial and ongoing assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patient’s medical, physical and psychosocial status in the inpatient and outpatient settings. There will be an opportunity to interact and work with Residents and Fellows of these disciplines.
