Tiber Health Innovation (THI) is the Data & Analytics division of Tiber Health Corporation, the parent company of Ponce Health Sciences University (PHSU). THI leads in Medical Education technology, offering predictive tools that support the student lifecycle from marketing & admissions to teaching & learning to alumni engagement & career pathways. Its mission is to scale and increase access to quality healthcare education, powering a one-year Master of Science in Medical Science (MSMS) curriculum through distance instruction, adaptive learning, and advanced analytics to guide student performance and predict success in medical school and the Step 1 exam. This digital curriculum enables partnered institutions to deliver their own campus-based (or remote) MSMS programs. Ponce Health Sciences University (PHSU) St. Louis, founded in 2018, addresses the need for more healthcare professionals by preparing students with a world-class, culturally competent education. PHSU's history dates back to 1977 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and it has expanded its health sciences offerings with campuses in Ponce, San Juan, and St. Louis. Its mission is to provide world-class, culturally competent health sciences education through innovative adaptive learning environments, focusing on student success and educating underrepresented diverse populations. There are two (2) open Teaching Assistant (TA) positions, supporting either PHSU's St. Louis campus or THI's partners. These roles focus on delivering a high-quality student learning experience, fostering teaching and social presence in an online-only environment by quickly responding to students’ posts and replies in asynchronous discussions. TAs serve as the first line of support for students, triaging online student questions and issues and escalating them appropriately. They also act as Student Support Coordinators (SSC) for MSMS cohorts and may assist faculty with other assigned duties. The TA position is a full-time role, working 35-40 hours per week, with an employment term from July 6, 2026, through June 30, 2027. Full-time benefits are provided, including paid vacation, sick leave, paid holidays, and access to health care benefits such as medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
