Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the KINE 2P41 Fall D2 course, Health and Physical Activity Promotion. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 employee group. Requirements
- Must have obtained a degree in Kinesiology or equivalent.
- Must have experience with or knowledge of the course material.
Nice To Haves
- Prior teaching and/or research experience in the discipline is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Scheduled contact time with students
- Preparation of seminar material
- Student consultation
- Marking or grading
- Examination proctoring
- Attending lectures
- Holding office hours
- Other course administration as may be required
Benefits
- Compensation according to qualifications
- Undergraduate rate: $23.30 per hour (effective September 1, 2026)
- Graduate rate: $36.67 per hour (effective September 1, 2026)
- Additional duties compensated at the appropriate Teaching Assistant rate
- Flexible work arrangements where possible
