Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of specific course content through satisfactory completion of the course, equivalent coursework, or experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including listening skills.
- Consistently maintain a positive, patient, and encouraging attitude with students.
- Ability to provide tactful oral and written feedback.
- Ability to explain concepts and facilitate small-group discussions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to demonstrate course-related software features for students, which may include Canvas, Zoom, Stata, RevMan, or EndNote.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Attention to detail.
- Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in a subject relevant to the course.
- Previous experience in teaching, assistant teaching, or tutoring.
