Requirements
- MA in English or BA in English with recent experience as a TA in English.
- Literary expertise and knowledge of the course area gained through completion of the course applied for or equivalent at the senior university level with a minimum of 78% (B+) grade, or gained through previous service as a TA in this or an equivalent course.
- Must have completed the course applied for or equivalent or have worked as a TA in this or an equivalent course.
- Successful experience in leading and managing discussion groups.
- Dependability and ability to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Scheduled contact time with students
- Non-classroom time including preparation of seminar material
- Student consultation
- Marking or grading
- Examination proctoring
- Attending lectures
- Holding office hours
- Other course administration as may be required
