About The Position

The student awarded this position will work with students in the ENV327W class (Writing about Environmental Science) during Fall 2026 to help them meet the writing goals of the class. The TA will be available to meet with students outside of class hours, either in-person or virtually. Requirements

  • Solid written communication skills
  • Available to attend the Fall semester's class meetings
  • Students may not work more than 20 hours per week (combined between all campus jobs) during the academic year.
  • Students may not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year.

  • Students who have already excelled in ENV327W are preferred

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and editing student work
  • Meeting with students to help with writing assignments
  • Directing students to the Writing Center

Benefits

  • Approved for 108 hours (roughly 7.2 hours/week for 15 weeks) at $12/hr.
