About The Position

The Teaching Assistant Professor, with a specialization in international relations, will be in the Curriculum in Peace, War, and Defense (PWAD). The position will teach 3 courses per semester (fall and spring) in support of the academic programs offered by the Curriculum in Peace, War, and Defense. Courses will include the introductory course in peace and security studies. The candidate will also teach other courses in the PWAD curriculum related to their area of expertise. There are no research expectations associated with this position.

Requirements

  • Specialization in international relations.

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise in the empirical study of peace science, conflict resolution, conflict management, or post-conflict governance.
  • Teaching introductory courses in International Relations (or similar).
