About The Position
This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the MGCR 222 course, Introduction to Organizational Behaviour, within the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University. The role involves supporting the course instructor with grading and student interaction. The position is expected to be primarily in-person on campus, with a possibility of transitioning to remote teaching if government restrictions necessitate it. Teaching Assistants may be required to use virtual learning platforms and the McGill myCourses learning management system.
Requirements
- Must be a McGill graduate student.
- Must have an appropriate course background for MGCR 222.
- Must be on campus to perform tasks in person.
Responsibilities
- Supervision of grading of homework assignments, quizzes, and midterm exam.
- Holding weekly office hours to answer questions from students about the course contents and assignments.
- Performing tasks suited to a remote/online teaching environment using a virtual learning platform [e.g., Zoom, WebEx] and the McGill myCourses learning management system, if required.
