About The Position

Palo Alto University (PAU), a private, non-profit university founded in 1975, is seeking a Teaching Assistant I for the PSYS 501 Child & Adolescent Development course (first half). PAU is located in Silicon Valley and is dedicated to social justice and addressing pressing issues in psychology and counseling for a diverse society. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled student at PAU in good standing.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Advanced understanding of the subject matter.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Able to create a comfortable learning environment for students.
  • A strong work ethic, dependable, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow through in a timely manner.
  • Ability to apply sound research techniques and logical critical analysis.
