About The Position

This posting is for a new position as a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor (CUPE) for the course "Genre et mondialisation en contexte transnational" (FEM 2509 Section A00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The work is to be performed at the Main Campus. The total work hours for this position are 117. The hourly rate is $31.89 for undergraduate students and $50.25 for graduate students (2024-2025 rates), excluding vacation and statutory pay. These rates are subject to change based on a new collective agreement. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. The work start date is September 09, 2026, and the work end date is December 31, 2026. The course will be taught in person, requiring some work on campus. The mode of teaching or work may change due to health or other reasons. The allocation of hours for specific tasks will be determined with the supervisor.

Requirements

• Knowledge in feminist and gender studies
• Excellent command (oral and written) of the French language
• Ability to communicate individually and in groups
• Must be available to attend the course as requested by the supervisor
• Must respect the suggested work schedule
• Must complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University
