About The Position
This posting is for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor (CUPE) position for the FIELD INVESTIGATIONS AND ENVIRONMENTAL course (CVG 4175) during the 2026 Fall Semester at the University of Ottawa. The position is within the Department of Civil Engineering_ST in the Faculty of Engineering. Requirements
- Background knowledge in the course (FIELD INVESTIGATIONS AND ENVIRONMENTAL) and all related Field Investigations equipment
- Undergraduate or Graduate student status (pay rate differs)
- Completion of all mandatory legislated training offered by the University
Nice To Haves
- P.Eng. or EIT certification
- Bilingualism (English-French)
Responsibilities
- Contact with students: 60 hours
- Grading: 60 hours
- Other tasks: 4 hours
- Work up to 8 hours in a near Park for possibly 2 weekends in a row
