About The Position

This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the PSY4327 C00 course, "Sleep and Dreams," during the Winter 2027 semester at the University of Ottawa's Main Campus. The role involves supporting the instructor in various aspects of the course, including training, preparation, student contact, grading, and proctoring exams. The assistant will also be responsible for weekly laboratories or tutorials. The course will be offered in person, and the TA is expected to be available during the scheduled lab time on Fridays from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. The total expected work hours for this position are 130.

Requirements

• Honours Baccalaureate in Psychology or its equivalent
• Current enrolment in a graduate program in Psychology
• Availability during the scheduled lab time (FRI 1:00PM-2:30PM)
• Completion of all mandatory legislated training offered by the University
• Ability to apply for positions using a worker profile in Workday if currently an active employee of the University of Ottawa
