About The Position
This posting is for a Teaching Assistant position for Psychology of Postsecondary Education (PSY3174 Section A00) during the Winter 2027 semester. The course will be offered in person, and TAs will be expected to be available on campus for duties such as proctoring and handling deferrals. The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements
- Honours Baccalaureate in Psychology or its equivalent.
- Current enrolment in the MA/PhD program in Psychology.
- Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
- All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
Responsibilities
- Training, preparation, contact with students, marking, grading, and proctoring all exams for the course.
- Being available to come on campus for any in-person duties outlined by the course instructor, such as proctoring and handling deferrals.
