About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant position for the Physical Activity Counselling course (APA4123) during the Fall 2026 semester at the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Human Kinetics. The role involves training, correction, and other tasks related to the course. The position requires the candidate to be in Ottawa to perform the work. If the course delivery switches to online, the candidate will need access to a computer, internet, microphone, and webcam. All University of Ottawa employees must complete mandatory legislated training. The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements

• Completed a master's degree in a relevant program at the Faculty of Health Sciences
• Knowledge of psychology
• Lab experience in motivational interviewing is essential
• Fluent in English
• Must be in Ottawa to do the work
