About The Position
This position is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) for the Perception course (PSY3508, Section A00) during the Fall 2026 semester at the University of Ottawa. The TA will be responsible for various tasks related to the course, including training, preparation, student contact, grading, and exam proctoring. The role also involves facilitating weekly labs. The course will be delivered in person, and the TA must be available during the scheduled lab times (Thursdays from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM). The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a specialization in psychology or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in a Master's or Doctoral program in psychology
- Must be available during the scheduled lab time (Thursdays 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM)
- Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
