About The Position

Under the supervision of the professor, assists in the correction of tests, essays, and exams. The exact number of hours and positions will vary based on enrollment in the course. BA in English Literature required. Please note that the TA is assigned to a group of students for the full session. Work hours may vary based on course needs, and the TA may be required to proctor the final exam. All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University. Requirements

  • BA in English Literature required.
  • Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
  • Must be a CUPE 2626 member or eligible for membership.

  • Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
