About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the ENG2307 course, Writing with Visuals: An Introduction, during the 2026 Fall Semester. The TA will work under the supervision of the professor, leading workshops, meeting with students, assisting with the correction of tests, essays, and exams, and potentially proctoring exams. The exact number of hours and positions may vary based on course enrollment. All University of Ottawa employees are required to complete mandatory legislated training. The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements

• BA in English Literature required.
• Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
• All University of Ottawa employees are under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
