About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor (CUPE) position for the Introduction to Calculus and Vectors course (MAT-1339 Section C) during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves providing support to students in the course, with a focus on contact with students. Priority will be given to Graduate students in the Mathematics and Statistics Department. Requirements

  • Student with a minimum of 30 credits in mathematics and statistics.
  • Strong understanding of the subjects covered in Introduction to Calculus and Vectors.
  • Must be available for the specified DGD (Discussion Group) times.
  • Graduate students in the Mathematics and Statistics Department will be given priority.
  • Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.

Responsibilities

  • Contact with Students: 50 hours
  • Provide support to students in the Introduction to Calculus and Vectors course.
