About The Position

This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the Phonétique course (LIN3725, Section A) during the Fall 2026 semester. The assistant will be responsible for a group of approximately thirty students for the entire session. The distribution of hours may vary based on the actual needs of the course. All University of Ottawa employees are required to complete mandatory legislated training. The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements

• Hold a specialization degree in linguistics or equivalent.
• Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
• Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
